It is hard to imagine that we all left the friendly corridors of WARDE 25 years ago.
I still am in contact with a bunch of classmates ( Bengi, Galletti, Baldyga, Silverstein, Vadas, Mayeran to name a few )
What is even harder to imagine is that my daughter will be attending Warde in the fall of 2007. YIKES !

Hi Everyone! I am looking forward to the Reunion and to hanging out and catching up. Life has been amazing and fun since Andrew Warde. College was a blast, I managed to improve my quarters game in Med School, and after 8 years of practicing and teaching Medicine in Boston, I switched careers 7 years ago to work in Biotech/Pharmaceuticals. I have been married to an amazing women named Ann for 16 years who is without a doubt the better half. We have two incredible children, Taylor (9) and Abigail (5). Taylor is all boy and Abigail is all girl. Taylor has always been 98th percentile height and is a solid guy who can throw a mean pitch in baseball and bullet in football. Without applying any career pressure, I have simply told him that Ann and I would be satisfied with complimentary VIP lifetime season tickets to either the Sox or the Pats. Abigail "Imelda Marcos" Andrews, already has 5,452 pairs of shoes and 729 dresses and wears a large percentage of them everyday. She is into Gymnastics and is way too cute in her little gymnast outfit doing the balance beam. One of my official favorite things in life is making them laugh. My wife Ann is a Maine girl and we both love the outdoors. We ski as much as possible each season and we also love the water. I race sailboats competitively as my karma. We play tennis several times a week and are having a blast watching our kids start to learn. I think one of my most important lessons since High School is that life throws many curve balls along the way and through the many challenges we experience and the mistakes we make, we have to stay afloat and stay positive to keep life good. We love and cherish our children and focus on them and each other and life is good. 09/11/07

I am a soccer mom, minus the mini van. But driving an older Volvo wagon; complete with the 75lb black lab mix. I keep busy with home crafts thatwould make Ms Lilly proud. Can't believe I have lived in NYC over 18 years! After many years together, Susanna and I got married in October 2005 and went to Hawaii for our honeymoon...and we are now tryng to win the lottery so we can go live there! I've had a few career "false starts" on Wall Street, then in media, before coming back to soccer the past 13 years as a team manager and player agent. I currently work for a pro team on Long Island (doing an insane reverse commute!) I don't have family in Fairfield anymore..parents are in VA, sister-Jen in MA (UMass), and brother-Josh in PA (near Pittsburgh) but I'm not far and would look forward to another class reunion. 11/13/06

Well, I never did finish in Andrew Warde, I had to move w/my mom in 1978.Been in Florida ever since! I have visited Ct twice and saw a few friends, it was great! Met my husband WAY back in 83'weve been together ever since. He's a 27 yr veteran w/the Florida Hwy Patrol (LT). Those of you who do remember me are probably like WHAT? a cop!!We have 3 beautiful girls, Amanda 24, Samantha 19 and my baby Krystal 16, and the most recent addition to our family is my grandson Jackson Casey. Mostly I was a stay at home mom but went to work in the medical field for a bit then moved on to work w/a private doctor as an ophthalmic assist for the past 5 yrs. Twenty-five years, YIKES! I'm not sure I'll be in town for the reunion. I'm suppose to meet a couple of my brothers for some golf on Hilton Head Is. SC. Little brother Patrick is a teaching pro down there. Although my parents are still at 88 Stratfield Road, most of my family left Connecticut for places like Oregon, Florida, South Carolina, Massachusetts and Maine. After a little college hopping I finished up at the University of Southern Maine in Portland. I was so impressed by this town and the people in it that I decided to stay. I have been involved in the marine industry for the past sixteen years. Working with Hood sailmakers, I started a company called Portland Sail & Rigging. Currently I'm heading up the rigging department of the Brewer Yacht Group's South Freeport Marine facility. I married my wife Marie-Gaelle in Brttany France in 1994. We have bilingual "Irish twins" Maella Joan (10) and Tara Marie (9). Jimmy Royston and I try to keep in touch, Anne Cutler (Ingraham) lives up the street, and I've reconnected with Janice Mayeran. I cannot believe how AWHS class of 82 has spread out across the US.(and Canada!)I still remember Mrs Falkowski on the first day of freshman year telling the class how fast the 4 years would pass and the whole class let out a huge sigh. Well, here we are nearly 30 years later! I am still living and working in CT and have been married going on 17 years to a wonderful wife, Lorrie, who is an RN at Bpt Hospital. We have 3 kids-Adriana 15, Loren 11 and Mark 9. I started and operated a construction and management co for 14 years (86-2000) and now I am working as a regional installations manager for a company that supplies physical security equipment to financial and pharmaceutical institutions and the US gov't. I am a Vice President of Sales at the Southport Office as well as number 1 in Team Sales, Listings, and Customer Service for my office. I've been here 10 years and love the company! I also am an active volunteer supporting victims of domestic violence as well as community theatre. You can find me performing about once a year in local plays. Ok, Lynn Sherman Alloy--u r still relentless, so I am writing in...:) I moved back to CT after 18 years living it up in the Big Apple. Settled down with hubby, Jay-from Maine--we met on vacation in Amsterdam. Have a daughter Melanie(2 1/2). I am VP of an executive recruitment firm in NY and Jay is an ex-teacher turned stay -at- home dad. Interesting times! ;) Live in Guilford which is alot like Fairfield b4 all the development. I fell of the map after going on an AFS International Student Exchange midway through our senior year. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a double major in International Studies and Spanish. I met my wife Adriana there and we have two Hawaiian born cats, Leilani Kai and Tabitha Kuahelani. I taught at the university a high school for a while, before moving on to bigger and better things. My wife suffers from polycystic kidney disease and spent a year on peritoneal dialysis until I was able to donate one of my kidneys to her. Since then, she is doing well and has had an unexplainable desire to watch ESPN and not do any house work...I wonder why? I saw Dave Hoffman being the victim of a prank video show on TV about 10 years ago his reaction was exactly the same as it would have been in h.s.! Ask him about it if you see him! 11/3/07

I met my husband, Al Larson, III one month after graduating and was married on 9/14/1985. We are going to Reno tomorrow to celebrate #22!! Our kids are 17 and 13. Elle is 17, a senior, and perfect. Aldy is 13, in 8th grade, and perfect. We have been blessed with a wonderful life. Full of ups and downs. Goods and bads. Happy and Sads. All of which are "The good stuff" that is worth living for. We moved to Oregon back in 1992, and have had lots of fun in the Big Bad West. We became owners of a restaurant in town back in 2002 named Cheerleaders Grill & Pub. It's a wonderful place that keeps us very busy. We call it a Glorified Diner with Beer, Wine and Big-Screens!! I spent my first 5 years out of college (USC) back in Fairfield, then relocated out to the West Coast. After some stints in Salt Lake City and New Jersey, I'm now back in LA working as a computer programmer for a large bank. My wife Marianne and I have been married for the past 12 years and have two great kids, Max (11) and Michaela (4). I can still be found hanging out with Bert Swift and riding motorcycles, often at the same time. Now that my parents have retired to Santa Barbara, I no longer have an East Coast connection so it will be hard to make it to the reunion. Y'know, I'm really not that hard to find. My mother still lives in the same house in Fairfield, with the same phone number... I remember wondering why we never had any reunions. I guess we did after all. Over the past 25 years, I have seen my share of year-long lost weekends, thrown objects, sticky-floored bars, and crappy but beloved old cars. Like everyone, I loved, lost, loved again, got tired, gave up and then started the cycle all over again. I've burned bridges, counted chickens, and leapt before looking, while eventually completing a Ph.D. in Ecology. Now I'm the Botanist in Big Bend National Park, TX, firmly a part of a far dusty corner of The Establishment. But I get to wander around the backcountry counting things, killing bad plants, and planting good ones. I'm a desert rat. I'm richer than 95% of the world's population, and have a cat named The Critter. Somewhere along the way I discovered that I like sushi. That about covers the important things. I spent my twenties pursuing my career as a CPA. Went from Ernst and Young to GE and in 1995 I started at Xerox. I have been there for over 12 years. I am Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. I moved from Fairfield to Trumbull with my boyfriend, Derek Fairfield. 7 months later, I became a Fairfield when we married on December 21st, 1996. Two years later I had my first child, Jack, now 9 and then my daughter Courtney now 7. We have a wonderful home in Trumbull with two very active children and a wonderful neighborhood. Our lives are filled with family and great friends. My sister Cindy and her family live in Bethel and my brother John and his family live in Newtown. so I still make it back to CT a couple of times a year. We have three children, Sam (10), Kira (7) and Jack (4) along with an assortment of dogs, cats and lizards. After receiving my BA in Biochemistry from Rutgers, I attended the University of Louisville where I received my Ph.D. in Neurobiology in 1989. I did a post-doc as a Multiple Sclerosis Fellow at UConn for one year and then went to the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD for 6 years where I met Karen. I received my law degree from American University attending classes in the evening and both Karen and I went to work for Bristol-Myers Squibb. I was responsible for worldwide licensing for the cardiovascular business. While at Bristol-Myers Squibb, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to study for and receive my MBA at Columbia. I left BMS and joined a number of biotechnology start-up companies, including Acorda Therapeutics (spinal cord injury and MS) and Omrix Biopharmaceuticals (surgical sealants and hemostats) as head of corporate development. When Omrix was acquired by Johnson and Johnson, the family moved to Pittsburgh and I have been CEO and President of a drug discovery company working in neurodegeneration. We have a lead program in Alzheimer s disease. I have been very fortunate to have made a career helping people and to have such a wonderful family supporting me the entire way.
